August Open Exhibition

Open Call for drawings, paintings, ceramics and sculpture.

At Palette and Frame Art Gallery,

This August we will be hosting an Open Exhibition, your chance to show your artwork on the walls of Palette and Frame. 

The show is open to all - if you make work, show it!

25% Commission on sales

Maximum 5 pieces per person.

The exhibition is open to all and runs from 

7th to 26th January.

How much does it cost?

The cost is based on the size of the artwork that you want to show. Simply measure the artwork (frame and all) or the approximate dimensions if the work is ceramic or sculpture and refer to the table below. 

Size (framed)

Smaller than A4 (210 x 297mm)..... £30

Smaller than A3 (297 x 420mm)..... £40

Smaller than A2 (420 x 594mm)..... £50

Smaller than A1 (594 x 841mm)..... £60

Larger than A1   (594 x 841mm)…..£70

How do I apply

Please send me an email with the title AUGUST OPEN with a photo of your work, title, medium and price to

contact@paletteandframe.com

And I will send you a link for payment.

Please note that although it is my aim to show everything that is submitted, any works that are overtly political or deemed offensive will not be accepted. The gallery's decision on this is final.

What else do I need to do

You need to deliver your work to the gallery on 9th August between 4 and 7pm.

All work should be framed or presented with finished edges, and ready to hang with wires and D-hooks.

Please ensure that your name, the name of the work, materials and price are attached to the back of the work.

Collection of unsold work is on 30th August 2026 between 4 - 6pm. Any uncollected work will become property of the gallery and may be disposed of.
